Wwe fastlane 2016 match predictions9/8/2023 ![]() ![]() This should be the last match of this programme before, presumably, Styles goes to WrestleMania to do something fairly significant. This programme is all about having Styles learn the WWE style without having to go down to NXT so it serves a purpose. AJ Styles is very good in the ring as is Jericho who now occupies the getting folk over phase. ![]() I’m thinking AJ wins, but Jericho gets his heat back by turning heel.Ĭraig: This should be good and comfortably the best match of the evening. On the other hand, he did win the first encounter. ![]() I would hope that AJ Styles will win because this feud is highly unlikely to rumble on until Wrestlemania, thus AJ should enter his ‘Mania feud with momentum. This time I do not mind a Raw rematch on a pay per view. I did catch this match on Raw, and very good it was too. Hopefully a quick and convincing victory for the Wyatt Family or the WWE might as well not bother with them.īrian: This match will be a messy, sloppy and in the end…I don’t see any possible way for anybody other than the Wyatt family winning. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman) (with Bray Wyatt)Ĭraig: Oh God, this will be the shits. Dolph Ziggler is a glorified jobber in this contest. He doesn’t deserve to be stuck in this programme and the fans don’t deserve having to put up with it either.īrian: I think this will be a good match, but a pretty obvious outcome. In this match he needs to quickly and/or convincingly despatch Ziggler and move on. ADR match except I am invested in Owens’ character, although even that is fading. While this should be a very good match, it’s symptomatic of WWE’s lack of effort in the mid-card that I have zero enthusiasm for this match because I feel like I’ve already seen it several times already.Ĭraig: You could almost lift word for word my response to the Kalisto vs. Jamie: Granted I’ve only seen a couple episodes of Raw this year, but I’m sure last time I watched it Dolph Ziggler was wrestling Kevin Owens. I don’t see Kalisto retaining just for the simple fact that Sin Cara has returned from injury and can refocus on the Lucha Dragon tag team. I think it has the potential to be really good…if not great. A shame and a bit of a missed opportunity.īrian: I think this match should have been put on the actual show and not the pre show. This back and forth has been of no benefit to either man really. Anyway, this feud over the US Title has done little for me so far, and I don’t see that changing.Ĭraig: This must be like part 100 of the feud between these pair right? I can’t get too invested in either character but that’s more to do with the WWE itself rather than anything about either competitor. Jamie: Is this feud still going on? Serious question, why do WWE keep pairing Mexican/Latino wrestlers together in feuds? Del Rio’s big rival previously was Rey Mysterio, who in turn had a storied relationship with Eddie Guerrero. Pre-Show: Two-out-of-three falls match for the WWE United States Championship Today the team share their thoughts and predictions on the show. Elsewhere, AJ Styles has his rubber match with Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens defends his IC title against Dolph Ziggler, the Wyatts face Kane, Big Show and Ryback, Brie Bella challenges Charlotte for her divas title and more. Tonight the WWE hosts Fastlane which will determine who of Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose will go to face Triple H at WrestleMania. Jamie Lithgow, Craig Wilson & Brian Damage ![]()
